
Woody Harrelson*

In choosing Toronto for BULLET FOR ADOLF, Harrelson continues his long love affair with the city. Filming both DEFENDOR and THE PRIZE WINNER OF DEFIANCE, OHIO here, he also directed the Toronto premiere of Kenneth Lonergan's THIS IS OUR YOUTH for two successive summers. Additional theatre credit's include Roundabout's Broadway revival of N. Richard Nash play, THE RAINMAKER, Sam Sheperd's THE LATE HENRY MOSS, John Kolvenbach's ON AN AVERAGE DAY and Tennessee Williams' NIGHT OF THE IGUANA on London's West End. Harrelson recently wrapped production on director Oren Moverman's RAMPART. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in his first collaboration with Moverman in 2009's THE MESSENGER. Other films include ZOMBIELAND, TRANSSIBERIAN, NATURAL BORN KILLERS, KINGPIN, WHITE MEN CAN'T JUMP, THE GRAND and THE PEOPLE VS. LARRY FLYNT for which he garnered an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.

Frankie Hyman
Writer
Frankie Hyman was born and raised in Harlem, New York. He left New York briefly in the early 1980's to work construction in Houston, Texas where he met and became friends with Woody Harrelson. After returning to New York, Hyman found a new interest in writing. It wasn't until the early 1990's that he again connected with Harrelson. Soon after, Hyman moved to Los Angeles where he has been pursuing a career in writing for the last 10 years.

Brandon Coffey
Actor
Brandon Coffey was born in Fort McMurray, Alberta and first started acting when he was 19- he loved it, quit his job as a scaffold apprentice and hasn't stopped since. In 2007 he graduated from the prestigious Acting program at the National Theatre School of Canada and has since worked at the Centaur Theatre, INFINITheatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Candian Stage, and Factory Theatre. Currently Brandon is working on getting numerous projects off the ground in film, TV, and theatre.

David Coomber
Actor
David is thrilled to be working on this new play and in such great company. David got his first acting job at the age of ten in Marti Maraden's production of The Secret Garden. Other NAC credits include: The Secret Garden (remounted in 2000), An Enemy of the People, Everything in the Garden, Angel Square, and Love's Labour's Lost. He also appeared at the Great Canadian Theatre Company in the world premiere of Dave Carley's The Last Liberal. David graduated from the acting program at Ryerson in 2010, and will take on the role of Mark in RENT with Fallen Rock Productions this coming June.

Tashieka McTaggart

Tashieka McTaggart is a passionate actor, singer and writer. A graduate of the Humber College Theatre Performance Program, she believes in using theatre for social change. She is thrilled to appear in the production of Bullet for Adolf. Selected Theatre Credits include: The Bully Show: Clown in the round (U.N.I.T Productions), Showdown (Mixed Company Theatre), The White Bone (Summerworks Festival) The Lesson (Toronto Fringe Festival). After this, she will be touring 'Diss' a play on worst-case scenarios of gang involvement, catalyzing audience members to express their voices, making their communities safer.

Ronnie Rowe is a Canadian born actor of Jamaican decent, living in Toronto, Ontario. He has been performing for local audiences for the past 5 years, and has continuously progressed in different areas of theatre. As his inspiration for acting, he quotes Rodney Dangerfield, 'Acting deals with very delicate emotions. It is not putting up a mask. Each time an actor acts he does not hide; he exposes himself.' He would like to thank the theatre family for welcoming him and hopes to learn more about acting in future shows.

Vanessa Smythe

Beginning acting when she was nine, Vanessa studied at Claude Watson's performing arts program, focusing initially on theatre and music, and also studied at All That Dance. When she was sixteen, Vanessa paired her artistic tendencies with volunteering, and delivered seminars to young audiences as Miss Teen Canada. Vanessa holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, and is now living back in Toronto, where she works regularly in theatre and film and is currently writing her second original work to be produced in Toronto this summer.
